Where do I begin!?!?

Excuse me, just coming down from my high of being in the Master’s Division at the Central Adirondack Art Show.

First off you will want to make this a day trip!

I will once again be at ZuZu’s Café in Seneca Falls!  This time I will be outside doing live art alongside another featured artist.  My work “Discarded Rose” will also be on display next to me while I work, it is a ZuZu’s Exclusive Original Work, so be sure to check it out while in town!

Even if you don’t check out my work, you should definitely pop into ZuZu’s for a bite and some awesome coffee.  Sunshine the owner always, always, treats me to some of her flavored iced coffee and if I wasn’t on a budget it would be worth the trip alone.  On personal note I would also recommend the Reuben, when Sunshine brought that to the table after a long day at the canvas, I have to say she looked very much like a saint with a sandwich.

BUT!  My art and the delicious eats and treats at ZuZu’s Cafe is not the only reason to come to Seneca Falls on Saturday August, 13th.

August 13th is also the Cayuga-Seneca CANAL SPLASH!
There is a wide variety of events in town that day and hundreds of people will be present!  Some things to do include;

Wesleyan Chapel Ranger Program

A National Park Service Ranger will present a program on the 1848 Women’s Rights Convention in the Wesleyan Chapel, site of the convention.

Phone: 315-568-1510

There is also the First Annual Caddy Stacks Mini Golf Bona-Dent Classic!
There will be 18 holes of miniature golf to play inside the Seneca Falls Library!  This sounds like it’s going to be one serious course with custom made greens, sand traps, and even one hole that begins on the second floor and ends on the 1st!
Admission is:
$3 - 12 and Under
$5 – 13 and Older
$20 – Family Limit
All proceeds go to the Seneca Falls Library programs for materials and services.

Bring the family out take a tour of Historic Seneca Falls the Birthplace of Women’s Rights, play some mini-golf at the library, and then take a stroll down to ZuZu’s to soak in some art, culture and maybe some ice cream!  Did I mention ZuZu’s has Ice Cream?

OH! OH! OH!  I am also producing a coloring book for that weekend, so if it rains or the kids don’t fall asleep on the ride back they will have something to do.
It will be an awesome day to visit Seneca Falls with Family and Friends, and I hope to see you there!

Central Adirondack Art Show – Master’s Division!

“Wonder” is now on display, in the Master’s Division, at the VIEW!!!

My work is alongside that of many other talented artists, who also found themselves in the top 10% of all entrants.

The VIEW is the Old Forge Art Center, part gallery museum and workshop it brings visual and performing arts straight to the heart of the Adirondacks.  Their new building has just been completed, and the place looks awesome!  I am so happy to have my work featured in such a beautiful facility.  It is an amazing place and worth the trip up north, there is also plenty to do in and around Old Forge.  Once you’re in the area it is very easy to spend the entire day there.

My work and that of many other talented artists will be featured in the show until August 7th, 2011!
…be sure to vote for your favorite, ;-).

Oh and the original of “Wonder” has been purchased by a patron of the show, so if you want a print I would buy them now before I have to raise the price.
